When planning a wedding stress can get the better of you, having to take a step back and decide who you are really trying to please. Where many love the idea of a huge, extravagant celebration others may have a more intimate affair in mind, just wanting to enjoy this precious moment. This is why it is important for you to decide what type of event you want to enjoy early on.
Obviously the first thing to think about when planning your wedding is cost, deciding what your budget can or cannot stretch to. However, if you can afford to throw a huge, dramatic celebration this does not mean that you have to, with your wedding being all about you and how you want your big day to pan out.
Simple, more intimate weddings are far easier to plan that over indulgent ones, with less suppliers to liaise with and purchases to make. So, if the sentiment of marriage is more important to you than throwing a huge party it is well worth keeping it simple, often being a more admirable style.
Many think that throwing a huge, elaborate wedding will encourage greater memories, however, this is not always the case. When speaking to brides you will find that it is the more intimate, loving moments that people remember, not the all-singing, all-dancing entertainers or the posh food.
